[Y303] Pouch to Generic Pack Adapter, $6.00
One of the most common questions we get from outdoor shooters is "how am I going to carry an SLR on my backpack?" Most photographers want to carry it in front where it is accessible. Two purposes:
We have devised this simple, lightweight adapter kit that allows our C series holster cases, most other Kinesis pouches, and some other brands of zoom cases (i.e. Tamrac, Lowepro etc.) to attach to the shoulder straps of your backpack. Will attach to most models/brands of packs such as: Kelty, Osprey, Lowe Alpine, Mountainsmith, Gregory, REI, EMS, Dana, etc. Will not attach to most lightweight day pack or book packs. In addition to the Y303, we recommend the H152 strap for added stability while rock climbing, scrambling or hiking in rough terrain. Clip it to the bottom D-ring(s) of the your C-Series case and wrap the strap around your torso to keep the bottom of the case from swinging outward.
[Y504] Kinesis Pouch to Generic Belt Adapter, $6.00
Most Kinesis pouches have a belt loop which you can slide your pants belt through -- times when you don't want to use a regular Kinesis belt. The slot is only 7cm (3") wide and not large enough for a heavily padded backpack belt. Because heavy backpack belts don't fit through this slot, we have devised this simple, lightweight adapter. You can attach any Kinesis single- or double-wide pouch (or two single-wides) to a non-Kinesis pack belt. Wrap the pair of vertical straps around your belt, cince down and then attach your pouche(s) to the adapter. Will attach to any models/brands of packs such as: Kelty, Osprey, Lowe Alpine, Mountainsmith, Gregory, REI, EMS, Dana, etc.
This product will also hold Lowepro Street & Field pouches with SlipLock attachment method (slip the tab behind the adapter).
