Foam Doughnut, $9.00
This thickly padded doughnut or collar wraps around the neck of the lens and Velcros to itself. It stabilizes the upper part of the lens just below the camera body.
- This product was originally designed for the "2-series" long lens cases (L321, L521, L526 or L621), but will also fit in the "1-series" long lens cases (L311 or L511, it is a snug fit and takes a few seconds longer to insert compared to the larger cases)
- When used with a "2-series" diameter case (L321, L521, L526 or L621) the diameter is flexible, providing an opening about 7cm (2.75") to about 9cm (3.5")
- When used with the L311 or L511 the inside diameter is fixed at 7cm (2.75") in diameter
- Constructed with 32mm (1.25") thick closed-cell foam and covered with gray oxford cloth

Padded foam insert which drops into the bottom a long lens case and surrounds the front element of the lens. It minimizes the movement of smaller leneses (300/2.8, 400/4, 500/4.5 or 500/4s) and provides additional protection on the sides. It secures with three Velcro pieces.

- Reduces the diameter of the bottom of the case
- Constructed with 16mm (5/8") thick closed-cell foam and covered with gray oxford cloth
- Height is 16cm (6-1/4")
- L029 inside L311 or L511: Maximum diameter lens that will fit is 15.2cm (6") -- good for most 300/2.8s but tight for 500s.
Reports from the field indicate that a Canon 300/2.8 IS & 400/4 DO (with leatherette lens cap on) will fit fine in an L311/L511 + L029 and are easy to insert and remove. The Canon 500/4 IS, however, is a snug fit and is OK for traveling but is a bit too tight for active "in & out" shooting.
- L029 inside L321, L521, L526 & L621: Maximum diameter lens that will fit is 15.4cm (6-1/8")
[L032] Thick Long Lens Foam Insert, $38.00

- If you looking for an insert that provides a smaller diameter (if you frequently stow your lens w/o the leatherette lens cap), then consider the L032 model. It is constructed with 30mm open-cell foam.
- L032 inside an L311 or L511: Maximum diameter lens is 13.6cm (5-3/8")
- L032 inside an L321, L521, L526 or L621: Maximum diameter lens is 13.8cm (5-1/2")
Please note than older (pre-2004) long lens cases did not have the matching Velcro strips and therefore the insert may stay in place when the lens is removed.

This replaces the standard L125 flat lid provided with your case. Adds 3cm (1.2") to the height of any L320, L321, L520, L521, L525, L526, L621 or L622 case. Also fits on L311 or L511 cases with an adapter (see lower left-hand side bar). It secures with a combination of Velcro and quick-release buckles. Includes a flat zippered pocket on the inside top of the lid.
This lid was designed specifically for the Canon 600/4 lens (hood in the stowed position) with a body attached and inside the Kinesis L521 case. The L521 is just tad short for this combo, but rather than make the L521 larger we have provided this slightly taller lid. (Making the L521 larger would create a problem when flying on commerical airlines as it is just at the "maximum carry-on" size for most US domestic carriers.) When using this lid, the sewn-in hand strap is operable, but snug.
Note to existing customers: If you are purchasing this product to retrofit an older long lens case (pre-2006), you MUST specify which style of buckle (e.g. A, B or C) you have. This is due to manufacturer changes in buckles. Click for photo to identify buckle type. Custom L129s are made to order and will usually takes 2-3 weeks production time.
Note: This product will not fit the discontinued larger-diameter L603, L630 or L631 cases.

[L228] L128/L129 Lid to L311/L511 Adapter Strap, $9.00

Lid which replaces the flat lid provided with your case. Adds 17cm (6.75") to the height of any L320, L321, L520, L521, L525, L526 or L621 cases. Also fits on L311 or L511 cases with an adapter (see left-hand side bar). It secures with a combination of Velcro and quick-release buckles. Stow lens with hood in the shooting position or keep the body attached to your lens for fast-breaking shots -- remove the deep lid for airline travel and overhead bin storage. Using this lid renders the sewn-in hand strap inoperable -- use the included Y515 shoulder strap instead.

Add a harness and convert your long lens into a backpack (be sure to add the free H130 strap too!). Although a padded waist belt is not required, it is recommended for more stability. Some customers have complained that the bottom edge of the case digs into their back when a belt is not used. The regular-weight Kinesis Black Belt is suitable for most.
Harness will not attach to older models (circa pre-2000: L300, L302, L400, L402, L600, L602 or L603). Will ONLY attach to L320, L321, L520, L521, L525, L526, L621 or L630.

Useful when wearing a harness with a long lens case. Attaches via Velcro to an L-Series Case or the E980 Pouch and provides a more stable ride, preventing swaying.

Nylon webbing accessory strap with quick-release (i.e. QR) buckle. Designed to fit around an auto bucket seat and your long lens case. Provides stability to your big glass when shooting on the safari.
