[H245] Small/Medium Padded Shoulder Harness | front, $43.00
(includes snap hook & 20mm male straps, similar to H436 & H437)

[H250] Medium/Large Padded Shoulder Harness | front, $43.00
(includes snap hook & 20mm male straps, similar to H436 & H437)

[H153] Chest Harness Kit, $21.00 (includes H152 strap & neck pad). The neck pad will not fit on the H344.

[H160] Harness/Suspender | Back, $6.00

Features Padded harnesses are constructed of thick 16mm (5/8") closed-cell foam and covered on the top with nonabrasive water-repellent 430D nylon pack cloth. The inside surface (which faces your body) is made from Superknit, a soft Polyester moisture-wicking foam-backed fabric. It has an 2-way adjustable sternum strap. Snap-hooks are provided to attach a pouch or case to the front. These snap-hooks are vertically adjustable or removable.

Long lens case users note: These harnesses will attach to long lens cases: L311, L511, L320, L321, L520, L521, L525, L526, L630, L631 or L621. Will not attach to pre-2000 model cases which include L300, L302, L400, L402, L600, L602 or L603.

This harness functions in three modes:

1. Backpack Mode—converts a tripod or long lens case into a backpack
(this is primary design of this harness)

H160 "back" adapter is NOT needed here.

Above left: H250 (or similar but smaller H245) harness attached to a long lens case (w/o H130 strap), converting it to a backpack.
Required H130 strap is shown on the photo on the right.
A harness will also attach to a Kinesis tripod bag in similar fashion.

Above is a method to carry a holster case (C580 shown) on your back.
A front harness (H245 or H250) will work alone, but additional stability is gained by adding the H152 strap and attaching it to the lower D-rings of the case (not shown). For instructions on how to assemble this harness arrangement, print the H153 Instruction page found on this link.

2. Suspender Mode
(the H344 is less bukly and just as comfortable)

A "front & H160 back" harness is required and
attaches to any padded Kinesis waist belt.

H245/H160 harness attached to a Kinesis B107 belt
(H250/H160 is similar but taller).

3. Chest Harness Mode
(This is a dated design as the newer H717 is
much more comfortable for carrying loads in the front)

A "front, back" (complete harness) & H153 kit are required.
A waist belt (shown) is NOT required, but provides more stability. The foam pad covers an aluminum spacer bar that is sewn into the harness and provides comfort from the weight of the front load. The front load or case invariably pulls down, which causes the back of the harness to go up.
