For small diameter 35mm lenses up to 57cm (5.9") tall like 28-80/3.5, 28-105/3.5, 24-85 etc., smaller 70-300s (see Field Report below), 16-35 (w/o hood) with filter size up to 77mm.

For most 645 or 6x6 medium format lenses w/o hood attached (i.e. 50/4, 80/2.8, 150/4, 180/4 etc., but the 40mm Hassy lens needs the larger E165). Too small for 6x7 lenses.

Too small for pro-sized 2.8 zooms with hoods attached (either reversed or in shooting mode). Choose E165 instead.

Field report for old style E110 -- Nikon 70-300/4-5.6 G (ED VR) with hood attached and reversed (3/07): If I rotate and carefully lift the lens straight up from the E110 it removes OK. It is when I am trying to lift it out quickly or with any sort of an angle that the hood sticks.

Fits Sigma 15-30 EX DG lens with hood.
