[C640] Large Holster Case, $83.00
Includes V100 CameraCushion™ divider.

C640 fits a "large body" with "large lens" attached as defined on this page.

The only holster case available today that holds a full-size DSLR body (including Nikon D1 or D2-series body or Canon 1D-series) and a 70-200/2.8, 80-200/2.8 (snug fit with the AF-S Nikkor IF-ED VR [Silent-Wave] -- no space in the flap pocket), 35-350/3.5, 100-400/4-5.6 lens with the hood in the shooting position.

Also accomodates a body with a Sigma 120-300/2.8 lens with the hood reversed.

Field report (June 07): "I got the bag, C640, very nice, it fit my Canon Mark3 + 400mm 5.6 + 1.4xtc perfectly."

When used on a waistbelt, the optional Y302 strap kit is recommended to prevent the top of the case from pulling away from the belt.

Because of its height, shorter or smaller people may find this LONG case awkward mounted on a belt.

*The C500, C580, C640 cases will yield a comfortable fit for a body up to 16cm (4.75") deep or a tight fit for a body up to 17.5cm (6.75") deep. (The depth dimension of the these cases is 15cm (6"), which is based on the rectangle-shaped opening. SLR bodies are triangular shaped, so this series of cases will house a body deeper than the rectangular "depth" dimension). Please visit this page for more sizing details.

**11.5cm (4.5") is the case design, but it will accomodate a lens up to 12cm (4.75") in diameter -- the front & rear just bulges out a little.

++This case provides a comfortable fit for a combination up to 37cm (14.5") tall, but a combo (Nikon 70-200 VR) up to 38.5cm (15") will also fit, but it leaves little room in the top flap pocket and a neck strap must be placed below the camera body instead of placing it on top of the back side (LCD side) of the camera.
