About Us B&B Gear is a division of Kinesis Photo Gear and sells selected products for the cyclist, backcountry and outdoor traveler. Our primary business at Kinesis is the design, manufacture and sale of a modular belt and pack system for photographers. We've been selling camera bags for ten years now. Most of our customers are photographers using our gear in the outdoors, so it is a natural for us to also sell accessories for use in the backcountry.

I have always enjoyed human powered endurance sports such as backpacking, x-c skiing, cycling, mountaineering, hiking and trail running (including ultramarathons). These sports mandate carrying gear that is compact, durable and most importantly -- lightweight. I have handpicked a few outdoor accessories from other manufacturers to supplement these types of activites. To insure quality customer service, we stock everything (no drop shipments from the manufacturers). Orders of B&B Gear accessories can be combined with your regular Kinesis order or ordered by themselves. (Occasionally you will find some of these items on eBay).

Warranties vary according to the manufacturer. Everything we sell is genuine brands with full warranties & packaging. We do not sell gray market goods.

As an avid wilderness traveler, ultrarunner, photographer, and recently, a long distance cyclists, I have personally studied and/or tested most of the equipment listed in this section. Those with a "MyRec" tag indicate my personal opinion or recommendation, many times providing a candid comparison to competing product.
